Main features:
MONTERREY fruit is very sweet, that is, it has low levels of acidity.
MONTERREY is similar to SAN ANDREAS in terms of production characteristics. The main differences lie in the flavor of the fruit and the vigor of the plant.
Its plants are more vigorous than those of Albion.
Main features: - Exceptionally high yields of marketable fruit; - Consistently produces large visually appealing fruit
over a long growing season; - Produces fewer runners in berry production, resulting in lower production costs; - Long shelf life fruit with good flavor and sugar-acid balance.
Developed at the University of California, Davis, this dayneutral cultivar was named in honor of Royce S. Bringhurst, a pioneering plant geneticist and strawberry breeder at UCD. This cultivar was selected for production in coastal California and diverse Mediterranean climates. UCD Royal Royce
produces exceptionally high yields of marketable fruit and significantly fewer runners than most day-neutral cultivars, which translates into lower costs of production and increased profits for fruit growers. This cultivar consistently delivers large fruit throughout the growing season with especially high yields late in the growing season. The fruits are sweet with a good sugar-acid balance, resistant to harvest and handling damage, and have a long shelf life.
Exceptionally High Yields of Marketable Fruit
UCD Royal Royce is an asexually propagated hybrid suitable for production anywhere dayneutral cultivars are grown. This cultivar has excelled in diverse long-day environments and produced blockbuster yields in coastal California and other mild Mediterranean climates where day-neutral cultivars typically thrive.

Main features: - An outstanding day-neutral cultivar for organic and
conventional production systems; - Consistently produces high yields early in the
growing season; - Highly productive in warmer environments where
day-neutral cultivars thrive; - Very large, flavorful, visually appealing fruit.
Developed at the University of California, Davis for long season production in typical day-neutral growing regions. UCD Valiant has been a standout
in both organic and conventional production systems, typically delivers high early yields of marketable fruit, and has excelled in warmer dayneutral
environments. This cultivar produces very large, firm, visually appealing fruit with a long shelf life.
High Yields of Marketable Fruit in Organic and Conventional Production Systems UCD Valiant is an asexually propagated hybrid suitable for a wide range of dayneutral environments and production systems. UCD Valiant has been one of the most reliable and productive cultivars in organic and low-input production systems and commonly produces high yields of marketable fruit early in the growing season.

Main features:
- High adaptability to any soil;
- Produces in any season;
- Very strong erecting;
- Good behavior between October and December.
Description:
Portola is a vigorous plant, requiring less planting density than Albion. The fruit is similar in size to Albion, but lighter in color and a little brighter. The fruit's flavor is excellent and especially consistent throughout the fruiting season. The post-harvest characteristics are similar to those of Albion, although they are slightly less tolerant to rain
Resistance to diseases and pests:
Portola has a good disease resistance profile, without requiring great care.

Producer's Note:
This variety on the West Coast is sensitive to powdery mildew.
Main features:
- Precocious;
- Medium-large fruit;
- Easy to harvest;
- Plant with little vigor;
- Very regular production trough out the season.
Description:
The fruit of this variety is slightly dark, both internally and externally. Good variety to produce on motte.
Resistance to diseases and pests:
Frontera is moderate or highly resistant to Verticillium, Fusarium and Phytophthora cactorum. Preliminary tests indicate that Fronteras has substantial resistance to Macrophomina. It has good resistance to powdery mildew and tolerance to dust mites.

Producer's Note:
It has good behavior along the Atlantic coast, such as the West Zone.
Given its color characteristics, the harvesting has to be more frequent.
Main features:
- Reassembling variety.
- Plant with less vegetation than the CAMAROSA variety, with few leaves, making it easy to pick the fruit.
- Exceptional organoleptic quality of the fruit;
- Yields similar to Diamond but lower than Camarosa;
- High resistance to adverse weather conditions and diseases;
- Demanding variety in water and fertilization;
- Ideal for plantations in November and December.
Description:
The added value of this variety is the exceptional quality of the fruit, both for its size (greater than that of Diamond) - in the order of 32 grams per fruit - or for its flavor and firmness. Harvesting is very easy, having more post-harvest resistance than the varieties mentioned, maintaining better flavor and appearance.
Resistance to diseases and pests:
ALBION is very resistant to Anthracnosis, Verticilium and Phytophthora.

Main features:
-Good adaptation to any climate;
-It's a very early variety. Planted at the beginning of October, it can start producing in December;
-It is very productive and the fruit has great quality in terms of color, size, flavor and firmness.
Description:
It is the most cultivated strawberry plant variety in recent years, about 60% of world production, with an incredible ability to adapt to climate change. The plants are vigorous and produce fruit for 6 or 7 months a year.
Its fruit is large (28-30cm), firm, sweet, dark red and conical in shape.
Resistance to diseases and pests:
This variety adapts extraordinarily well to changing weather conditions.

Main features:
- Semi-reassembling variety.
- Compact and small plants, making it easy to pick the fruit.
- Firm fruit, attractive appearance and excellent flavor;
- Yields higher than Albion;
- High resistance to adverse weather conditions and diseases.
- Ideal for both winter and summer plantations.
Description:
The fruit is brighter and firmer than Albion and has a similar taste. when properly treated, productivity is maintained regardless of the hours of light. The fruit maintains its excellent quality in summer plantations. It is a variety with good resistance to diseases without requiring great specific care.
