Description:
Portola is a vigorous plant, requiring less planting density than Albion. The fruit is similar in size to Albion, but lighter in color and a little brighter. The post-harvest characteristics are similar to those of Albion, although they are slightly less tolerant to rain.

Description:

Resistance to diseases and pests:
Frontera is moderate or highly resistant to Verticillium, Fusarium and Phytophthora cactorum. Preliminary tests indicate that Fronteras has substantial resistance to Macrophomina. It has good resistance to powdery mildew and tolerance to dust mites.
Producer's Note:
It has good behavior along the Atlantic coast, such as the West Zone.
Given its color characteristics, the harvesting has to be more frequent.
