M.A.A.E. is the largest strawberry plant nursery in Portugal.
We have accumulated know-how from over 30 years of strawberry plant growing experience.
Since our inception in 1992, we have worked exclusively with plants from UC Davis University in California, USA, as they demonstrate the highest quality and performance in strawberry production in our country.
We supply high-quality plants through an agile logistics structure prepared to quickly fulfill orders nationwide and export to any region of the world.
Mountain Nurseries
Our nurseries are located in the Beira-Alta region, between 850 and 900 meters above sea level, in a mountainous area with the perfect agroclimatic conditions for the development of robust, healthy, and resilient plants.

Sustainability
We primarily apply biologically based treatments to minimize environmental impact, preserve local biodiversity, and enhance the resilience and quality of our strawberry plants.
Certified Quality
We focus all our efforts on the quality of the plants we produce. We work exclusively with Californian UC Davis-certified varieties, and all our production is certified by legal authorities.
Storage and Freezing
We maintain a stock of frozen and "motte" plants, in order to respond with fresh plants to the different preferences and planting needs at all times of the year.
Export
We ensure delivery within mainland Portugal through our own fleet of refrigerated vehicles, avoiding temperature differences. We also export to any region of the world.
